We have completed our first mission trip to India! Special thanks to our PDA ambassadors Hardip Chera, Jasmine Faldu, Bharvi Patel, and Bijal Amin, for all their hard work overseas. They traveled to various locations including Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Nadiad (located in Gujarat), & teamed up with dentists in various dental specialties in India.
Due to your continuous support, and donations of thousands of items, as well as over $2,000, this mission was beyond a success.

Rutgers Changemaker Challenge Finals 4/7/14
As finalists in the Rutgers Changemaker Challege, we were granted the opportunity to present PDA to a board of judges and students, who then voted us as the 2nd place winners in the competition! We are so grateful for all the support we had that night and the new connections that were made as a result of taking part in the challenge.
Meeting with Girl Scout Troop 4/13/14
Our General Secretary Zaadia Laing met with a Girl Scout Troop in South Plainfield to talk to them about PDA and answer any questions they might have. The girls were very enthusiastic about the work that PDA has been doing, and had lots of questions about why we started this org, our mission trips, and oral health as well. Their troop leader Debbie Metz prepped them for the visit, so they had already collected donations of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss that they presented that day. They will be continuing to collection donations to contribute to our cause. Thanks girls and keep up the good work!
